Our Story

From Flight Decks
to Front Counters.

The "Why" behind the "Shift."

Most scheduling software was built by people who have never had to tell a tired employee they're working a "clopen," or had to re-write a week's worth of plans because a single person called out sick at 5 AM.

We aren't most software.

Phase 1 - The Cockpit

10 aircraft. 8 simulators. Zero margin for error.

Our team's roots are in the US Navy E-2 Hawkeye community - carrier-based, high-stakes, and brutally complex. As Scheduling Officers for carrier training squadrons, we didn't manage a staff rota. We managed a three-dimensional puzzle of flight students, qualified instructors, aircraft readiness windows, simulator blocks, and mission-critical weather requirements - simultaneously, every single day.

A single schedule took 10 hours to build. One aircraft going down for maintenance could invalidate three days of plans in minutes. We learned very quickly that a schedule isn't a document - it's a living system that needs to adapt without breaking the humans inside it.

"In that world, the schedule isn't just a list.
It's the heartbeat of the mission."

Phase 2 - The Ground Floor

Sheet-mageddon. In every timezone.

After the Navy, we applied that same operational rigour to franchise and retail management across Asia. What we found was the same chaos - just wearing different clothes. Instead of aircraft, we had part-time staff with 4-hour availability windows. Instead of mission-critical weather, we had 16 different labor law frameworks spanning Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, the Philippines, and beyond.

The tools available were built for the 1990s. Spreadsheets. WhatsApp threads. Post-it notes. Managers spending Sunday nights instead of with their families. Staff finding out their schedule on Monday morning by physically showing up and hoping for the best.

๐Ÿ“ฑ

Managers drowning in WhatsApp message threads.

๐Ÿ”ข

Staff treated like interchangeable numbers on a grid.

๐Ÿ’ธ

Owners flying blind on real-time labor costs.

โš–๏ธ

Accidental OT violations costing more than the shift was worth.

The Before. The After.

Same manager. Same team. Very different Sunday night.

โœ•

No record of who changed what or when.

โœ•

New hire training hours tracked on a sticky note.

โœ•

Discovering the overtime violation on pay day.

โšก The Schedaddle Way

โœ“

Auto-generated draft in minutes. 8 phases, zero Sunday guilt.

โœ“

Availability guardrails baked in - the algorithm won't break them.

โœ“

Labor law compliance for 16 markets, built into the engine.

โœ“

Every post-publish change version-stamped and audit-trailed.

โœ“

Training blocks tracked in real-time. Auto-graduation on threshold.

โœ“

OT flags surface before you publish, not after you pay.

Our Core Beliefs

We stand for two things.

โ˜€๏ธ

Manager Freedom

A GM's job is to lead their team, develop their staff, and run their floor. It is not to spend three hours every Sunday night playing schedule Tetris.

Every feature in Schedaddle is designed to return time to the manager. If it doesn't save you at least 30 minutes, we didn't build it.

โš–๏ธ

Staff Fairness

Behind every shift is a person with a life, a commute, a family, and a finite amount of energy. The Equity Rotation algorithm isn't a nice-to-have - it's a founding principle.

No one should always open. No one should always close. Availability isn't a suggestion - the algorithm treats it as a hard wall. Full stop.

We took military-grade planning
and wrapped it in sunshine.

We've taken the precision of carrier-deck scheduling - where every decision has a consequence - and built it into software that any GM can use without a logistics degree. Dark-first UI. Equity-first algorithm. Compliance-first defaults.

We don't just fill slots.
We protect your Sundays.
